Android users are also having the feature in the device to connect the phone or tablet through Virtual Private Network (VPN).
You can either choose Free VPN services or Premium VPN services with fast and unlimited bandwidth.
Some VPN Service providers are BoxPN, HideMyAss, Witopia, ProXPN, Express VPN, etc..
Step by Step
Step 1 : Go to Settings -> Wireless & networks -> VPN Settings.
Step 2 : Click on “Add VPN”.
Step 3 : select 'PPTP VPN' connection. Then you need to enter a name for VPN (any name) and VPN Server name (provided by VPN service provider). Turn ON, ‘Enable encryption’. And no need to enter the 'DNS search domains'. (Some cases, Turned OFF the ‘encryption’ to get the VPN connected properly.)
Step 4 : Next, 'Add VPN' screen , you can see the VPN just you added. Click on the added VPN, it will ask for Username and password. Enter the VPN Username and password (provided by VPN service provider).

Window 8 has many features. But they didn’t add Ad-hoc network feature in window 8. That is we can't create Wi-Fi hotspot directly. Don't worry there is another way to create Wi-Fi hotspot on Window 8 and Window 7 using a software called Virtual Router Plus.
First, check your device support this feature.
Open cmd (Command Prompt)
For Windows 8 Press Win + X
And Select Command Prompt (Admin)
For Windows 7
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt
And type the command:
netsh wlan show drivers
And find Hosted network supported : yes/no
If yes, your device support this feature.
Then Download Virtual Router Plus here
Extract the download file and Open VirtualRouterPlus. (No Need to Install, Just Open)
And Enter Network Name (SSID): (Any name).
Enter the Password.
Select Shared Connection (which Internet connection you want to Share).
Then click Start Virtual Router Plus button.
Now You can broadcast your own internet and share it with your Wi-Fi mobiles, Tablet, etc
NB: After Completing WiFi Hotspot click Stop Virtual Router Plus button.
